Inline Plus and Bayside
As you may know, Inline Plus has a previous relationship with Bayside Blades. Sadly, for various reasons, this could not continue. We are still grateful to Bayside for helping us with our first series, and in my case, for starting me off in Inline Skating.
Back when I had that infamous “mania period”, where I was running on euphoria from having just learned to skate with Andrea, I sadly drove them a little mad with the project that followed. I also grew a little too attached to Andrea. For this reason, I had to part ways with Bayside. I really wish that it hadn’t of gone this way, but I think we both needed to move on at this time.
This situation is currently why things “are complicated” in Melbourne, and why we chose to start shooting again in Adelaide first.
We are close to announcing a relationship with a new Skate Shop. This time it is run by a male, which should reduce the above problems. We hope that though them, we can continue to share the joy of skating to our TV audiences for the next year or so.
Anyway, it is “onward and upwards” from here!
